There are very few companies today that do what Talk Fusion can do and back in 2007, when CEO Bob Reina founded the company, there was almost nobody. Bob Reina is the founder of Talk Fusion and the reason that the company has been so successful for so long. However, Reina wasn’t always his own CEO and his path to becoming one is pretty interesting. For entrepreneurs who are interested in what it takes to reach the next level, keep on reading. So, what does it take to become your own boss and start a company that will fundamentally change the way people do business? It takes a good idea and almost as important it takes reaching the market at the right time. We can flash back in time over 10 years ago when Bob Reina was working as a police officer. He was approached by a network marketer and it was during this conversation that he began to learn about using the internet as his own platform to run a business. Of course, Talk Fusion wasn’t born out of a simple and singular conversation. Bob Reina brought about Talk Fusion after realizing that he could personally benefit from the services that they would provide. Talk Fusion is a premier video marketing company that focuses on solutions for communication and messaging within the business world. Reina knows firsthand how frustrating it can be to try and get your message out to customers and clients. That is what brought him to invent the Talk Fusion Video Email which is now the core program in the Talk Fusion marketing suite.

The Talk Fusion Video Email application allows businesses to send emails embedded with videos to entire client lists. Back in 2007 this was a game changer for the video marketing industry. Now, in 2017, it is just another aspect of their already impressive catalog at Talk Fusion. Going forward with the company, Reina is focused on bringing about product solutions for customers who need something to fill in the gaps. Talk Fusion is all about staying ahead of the curve and pushing the limits of the industry. Learn more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73t_xeZFmIQ

Today, the world would be a whole lot easier if we knew how to communicate with each other in a more effective manner. So many problems arise due to lack of communication, lack of understanding, and people being misunderstood. We all want to be respected, understood, and heard. We have a voice and we want people to hear it, loud and clear. Thanks to Bob Reina’s Talk Fusion, that is now possible. Whether you are interested in using this product for personal use or for professional use, it has all the tools you need and more to make communication that much better.

If you are in a long-distance relationship, which a lot of people are in today’s day and age, this makes communication that much easier. You can send something out called a video chat, which allows you to see the person you are talking to and actually hear their voice in a whole new way. On those days you are missing them, this allows you to have that reminder of them and it will never, ever go away. If you feel lonely or like you want to feel connected to them, all you have to do is use the video chat and you can feel like they are right there with you, every step of the way.

Video chat also allows you to chat with a business partner if you are starting up a business. It is important to be able to have a conversation with them and find out what they want to do with your product while at the same time, they can find out what you are interested in and it opens up the communication lines. If you need to speak with a room full of people, you can do that with video conferences, which allows a number of people to be on the same chat.

No matter what you need Talk Fusion for, Bob Reina has it covered. The product has only been around since 2007 but it is truly ahead of its time and it has made great strides in a nine-year period. I’m excited for what is next!

Shaygan Kheradpir is stirring things up once again in the telecommunications industry. The former CEO of Juniper Networks Inc. caused quite a buzz in the weeks prior to and up until his eventual resignation from the company in November, 2015. His departure came about after a highly publicized whirlwind of events that started with attacks from investors and was followed by investigations of company strategies, employee layoffs, and several other executive resignations. Now Kheradpir is making headlines again but this time on a more positive note with his acceptance of a CEO position at Coriant, Inc.

The move to Coriant is no small move as Coriant, Inc is considered to be a major player in the telecom/technology industry. According to LinkedIn, “Coriant is a proven supplier of innovative networking solutions to leading network operators in over 100 countries. Coriant customers include nine of the top 10 global Tier 1 Communications Service Providers (CSPs), as well as cloud providers, enterprises, and government agencies.” Coriant is headquartered in Munich, Germany and some of its industry rivals include Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Huawei, Nokia Networks, and Ericsson.

There are some skeptics who question whether Coriant has made a wise hiring decision with the new addition of Shaygan Kheradpir since his controversial exit from Juniper. Obviously though, there are others who are hopeful regarding what the new CEO could bring to the table and are excited about his potential to increase revenue and lead the company to greater expansion. Kheradpir certainly has an impressive set of qualifications and experience on his resume with his previous employment in senior level positions at GTE and Verizon Communications and also a role as chief technology and operations officer for Barclays Bank. In all, Kheradpir has more than 28 years of executive experience in the telecommunications, technology and business sectors.

Shaygan Kheradpir will take over the role that was previously held by Pat DiPietro, who will be taking over the seat of vice chairman and operating partner for Marlin Equity Partners, the private investment group that is the parent company of Coriant. DiPietro is looking forward to the change of roles and is especially excited about bringing Kheradpir onboard. DiPietro responded to the announcement by saying, “We are honored to welcome Shaygan to Coriant and fortunate to have an executive of his caliber leading the company. His strategic insight and guidance on focused operational execution have been invaluable since we began working together earlier this year, and we are confident in his ability to drive Coriant to the next level of growth.” The next few months will be a critical time for both Shaygan Kheradpir and for Coriant and it will be interesting to see what happens next–one thing is for sure though, there will be plenty of eyes watching to see how this next phase will unfold.

Shaygan Kheradpir boasts of post graduate education in engineering from Cornell University. He has several patents ranging from telecom, media, etc. and was one of the advisors of the U.S. National Institute of Standards & Technology and the Cornell University Engineering Council. He started his profession at GTE Corporation, and consequently was offered the position of Verizon’s EVP & Chief Information Officer and a part of the executive team propelling the innovation, efficacy, revamping and leading product manufacturing, covering FiOS, one of the biggest telecommunication frameworks in the U.S. with a significant investment in working capital. Shaygan next joined Barclays as a CEO and also was a member of the bank’s Executive Committee. Kheradpir is currently the business owner of Coriant , over taking Pat DiPietro, who assumed the role of vice chairman and came back as an operating partner at Marlin Equity Partners , the private equity company that engineered Coriant by combining the optical unit of Nokia, Tellabs and part of Sycamore Networks.

DiPietro remarked that they are honored to welcome Shaygan to Coriant and lucky to have a highly competent executive assuming leadership of the company. His strategic perception and leadership on execution have been of great value since they started co-working earlier in the current year.

Kheradpir has an abundance of work experience, spending time at GTE and Verizon Communications and as the CEO of Barclays Bank. But how suitable is he to run an optical systems client with a limited number of customers and a significant yearly revenue that is striving to demarcate itself and flourish in a very cutthroat market where the antagonism comes from the telecom giants.

As the product of mergers between Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) Optical Networks, Tellabs, and Sycamore Networks, Coriant is a force to be reckoned with in the telecommunications industry. Formed in 2013 and boasting over 35 years of experience from its parent companies, Coriant serves leading network operators in over 100 countries. With all this going for it, it became to be an instantaneous mainstay of backbone networks across the globe. And now, with the appointment of its new CEO and Chairman, Shaygan Kheradpir, it is poised to innovate and blaze trails like it never has before.

Kheradpir has been working in the field of telecommunications since 1987, after receiving a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Cornell University. As Chief Information Officer at GTE Corporation, the Wall Street Journal reported that he “earn[ed] respect for delivering new products on schedule,” and he delivered these kinds of results consistently throughout his career.

Since the turn of the century, he has held executive positions at Verizon, Barclays and Juniper. At Verizon, he became known for his ability to simultaneously cut costs and improve upon technology and processes. At Barclays and Juniper, he demonstrated this same ability, playing a key role in contributing to successful restructuring efforts. His appointment to the Coriant team this past September is a clear indication that they are preparing for something big.
Optical communications technology is an ever-evolving field, and even large the largest and most stable companies must continually develop new and improved processes, hardware and software if they are to remain in their positions. Thus, according to Coriant’s website, “The Coriant portfolio of SDN-enabled, edge-to-core transport solutions enables network operators to reduce operational complexity, improve utilization of multi-layer network resources, and create new revenue-generating services optimized for the evolving demands of business and consumer applications, including video, mobile, and cloud.” With such a large arsenal at their disposal, it would seem they are intent on becoming synonymous with expertise and ubiquitous throughout the industry. Since September, and especially since the beginning of 2016, their press releases have become distinctly more frequent as they have added numerous major clients and unveiled new hardware and software solutions. Under the leadership of Shaygan Kheradpir, Coriant is the telecom company to watch this year.

Recently, an article was posted on blog.wsj.com that talked about the recent chapter 11 bankruptcy file of the home service company, Homejoy Inc. Unfortunately, Homejoy filed for this chapeter 11 case in the first week of December, on a Tuesday, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Jose. The article also goes on to state that Homejoy has also decided to close down their website. Although Homejoy has many different funding services coming in from investors, the company still decided to shut down due to many unresolved challenges in the company. Several of Homejoy’s investers came up with $38 million from fundraisers, but the company still refused the money because things were becoming too confusing to continue with.

The article ends by stating that startup companies have been plagued with lawsuits that state a reclassification of contractors as employees, which means that labor costs will rise to 20% – 40%. However, one startup company, Handy Technologies Inc., is still heading on, by providing house cleaning and furniture-assembly services and is currently being invested in by companies like Fidelity Management, Research Co., Highland Capital Partners, and more. Overall, Handy Technologies has raised more than $110 million, which proves the company to be a competitor for Homejoy.

As said before, Handy Technologies is a home cleaning and furniture assembly company that has trusted professionals that are qualified to help home owners assemble everything properly in their houses. They also are known for their fast services. Home owners can simply book an appointment today and Handy’s professionals will be at the home as early and fast as the next day. Finally, if customers are not satisfied with the work done by Handy’s employees, they can get a 100% refund of their money without any issues.

Handy’s process has been known to be very simple and easy for almost all home owners to follow, which is why the company has been doing to so well in terms of its funds. Many investors have been flocking to Handy, hoping to chip in on the company’s greatest pinnacle of the year.

Overall, Homejoy may be closing down and causing several home owners to be disappointed, but another home service company is arising, Handy Technologies, and they are promising to bring similar services like Homejoy, but even better, more efficient, and cheaper!
